And the winner is...

I thought I was going to choose this based upon answers, but I decided that wasn't fair. I loved reading all of your responses!  I used random number generator and it chose #10 and that belongs to....

Blogger Marilyn said...
I love being a needleworker because it gives me a feeling of accomplishment. Not all people know what a great satisfaction it gives you. And you are creating a piece of history. Some people think it is a waste of time, but it isn't.
It's a craft, a telent, that brings out creativity in both designers and stitchers.
It's a great stress-reliever also.
I try and stitch a little every morning before work, and it helps me get thriough the day. I think it keeps you at a calm state of mind.
I am a follower, and would LOVE to win the Needlwworker kit.
Thanks for the chance.

Post market update.. and a giveaway!!!

What a whirlwind the last couple of weeks have been. Been to Nashville Market (fabulous by the way) and so much to tell.

We did release four new cottons, and would you believe it? They are flying out the door so fast that I even have my own to take a picture of them! I will snag some from the warehouse soon and show them in their glory. One of the new colors, Mossy, is already being used in Lizzie*Kate's "At Our House" kit, released at Nashville.

Another big release and my favorite is our collaboration with Little House Needleworks and Hoffman Distributing Company, called "Needleworker".

The kit, available from your local needlework shop, contains the pattern and 7 skeins of Crescent Colours cotton floss.  We also made the frame! Shown in Fleamarket Blackbird and 5" x 16", The June looks just beautiful around all of that beautiful stitching. The pattern calls for 30ct R&R Creek Bed Brown linen and fits that particular frame. If you use a higher count fabric, we have a frame for that too.

Which brings me to a giveaway! I have the above kit, Needleworker and the 30 count R&R Creek Bed Brown Linen to gift upon a lucky blog reader. The rules? You must be a follower of my blog, leave a comment WITH your email address and answer the following question: Why do you love being a needleworker? I will choose a winner on Thursday, March 23rd at 5 pm MST.  I'm not doing this by random number generator. I'm going to pick the best answer that I feel encompasses being a true needleworker at heart.

Anyway, start thinking about your answers, you're welcome to spread the word about the giveaway, anyone who is not a blog follower will need to be to post.

Have a wonderful week!  Sharon

When will the sneak peeking end???

I don't know, but these are the threads in the Nashville Limited pack #2 and I was bursting at the seams trying not to show them.  These packs are available to shop owners on Friday night's Early Bird sale. There are six skeins of unique little strangers (coined that from Tam..so funny) just for fun.

So excited...I fly tomorrow and will be in Nashville tomorrow afternoon.

Happy day everyone! Sharon

Tiny sneak peek...

This market I decided to card up some of our oopsies floss and offer them for sale. The colors pictured here are in the 2013 Nashville Limited Cotton Colours, 6 skeins per pack.  They don't have names, but I think they are really gorgeous.

These will be sold on Friday evening during early bird shopping. They are very limited, so if you're interested be sure to let your favorite shop know!

Happy Stitching and Shopping! Sharon

Latest and Greatest!

One week till the TNNA Nashville Needlearts Market and here's the information that shops (and lovely stitchers) need!

We are releasing 4 new Crescent Colours embroidery floss, 2 new Crescent Colours Perle #5 cottons, the two Limited Cotton floss packets (these are very limited, beautiful colors, not to be repeated) and we'll have a big hodge podge of our different cotton trims (rick rack, chenille, twill tape and lace).

We are not releasing any new silk colors at this Market. Our next release for silks will be at the Columbus market this summer.  Expect some really special things there too.

I will be taking orders for frames, any patterns that you need, threads (we only bring the new colors to market to sell) and all of our other products. Shipping for market orders will begin March 13, 2013.

I'm excited to see everyone, always so nice to chat with everyone in person and catch up with dear friends.

The countdown is on!!!! Happy Stitching!
