Anyway, onto some pictures of recent designs using our threads and frames, I think you'll enjoy it!
This is The North Wind, by Little House Needleworks..it's so snowy and cute! Uses Crescent Colours cotton floss and the frame is The Beatrice in Fleamarket Icing
I love Christmas music. Only a few more days until I can blare it all day long, much to my employee's chagrin. My favorites are Silent Night, Carol of the Bells and O Holy Night. Anyway, onto the design, which is called, surprise, Christmas Carols by Country Cottage Needleworks. It's framed in one of our Louis frames in Fleamarket Icing. I think I'm gonna pull out my Christmas cd's and put them in the changer in my truck, then I can listen whenever I want.
I love this piece, because I love doves and it always makes me think of Peace. The title of this chart by Country Cottage Needleworks is Joy Peace Love. It's framed in a fabulous June frame in Fleamarket Icing.
I'm saving the best for last, don't you know!! Snow White by Little House Needleworks is already kitted up in my stitching basket! The piece is one colour of Belle Soie silk, named Icing. The frame is named after my beauty of a daughter, Meg. The finish is Fleamarket Icing. It's so wintery and frosty. Love it!
And last, but certainly not least, Snowflake Serenade by Country Cottage Needleworks. We framed it with The Merry in Fleamarket Icing. Isn't it the epitome of snowy, frosty, icy and winter? Oh yeah, and Christmas too. I'll be digging out some stuff to kit this up too. Lovely.
Well, that's all I can think of right now, except the Brach's Christmas Nougets on my desk...oh, they are so good and one of my favorite Christmas treats. What's your favorite once a year treat?
Wait, should I have a giveaway? Oh what a fun idea!! Ok, here are the rules, you need to be a follower of my blog, and post to this comment your favorite Christmas candy, the winner will have the choice of one of the frames shown above. I'll draw by random number on Monday, November 22nd at 9:00 am.
Let's see how many extra followers I have by Monday! Wheee! Have fun!
Oh and those following the fate of my dear golden retriever, Finley, he's been to the oncologist and he's had the first of 4 radiation treatments. The vet told us it would keep him more comfortable in the last months of his life, by diminishing the pain. Extra benefits of the radiation is that it might shrink or eliminate the tumor, thus lengthening his life span up to a year. But we'll take what we can now, enjoy him and love him and do what I can for him. When he can't take the pain anymore, then I can't either. But we'll talk about that day later. Right now, he's waiting to see if anyone walks by one the street, so he can bark them up.
Thanks for reading, if you made it this far! Have a wonderful holiday season!
Sharon

My favorite Christmas candy is Andes mints which we only buy at Christmastime. I am a new follower of your blog.
Sharon,
My favourite Christmas Candies are Chocolate Creme Drops -- they were my Nan's favourite and I buy them every year -- when I eat one, I'm 'sharing' with her (She's been gone since 1994).
Love your blog, BTW!

Hi Sharon. I'd have to say my favorite Christmas candies are the hard fruit flavored ones in the can and candy ribbons plus my mom's fudge and my homemade buckeyes. Ok--too much candy there but I don't eat it the rest of the year so its ok--Right? Lol!
Love your blog and I love your floss! I usually buy patterns that Welcome Stitchery in IL kits up with it.

How fun! I just adore your frames!! My favorite candy has to be the Russell Stover Peppermint Bark snowmen. Oh, they are amazing! In fact we just bought our local Walgreens out... :-)
I'm a new follower of your blog and enjoyed looking around. My favorite Christmas candy would have to be peanut butter fudge. Thanks for the chance to enter your contest. Phyllis

My favorite Christmas candy is my homemade Chocolate Peanut Clusters. I started reading your blog a few weeks ago. Love your frames! Thanks for including me in your giveaway.
Have been a faithful follower for quite a while, and I love your threads (especially the Belle Soie line). So, of course, I love your frames now too!!
My favorite Christmas candy would have to be the candy cane...not just because it is minty sweet, but because of all the wonderfully Christian meaning behind each aspect of it (http://logosresourcepages.org/Holidays/candy.htm).
Thanks for hosting such a generous giveaway.
P.S. Do you have a comprehensive listing of all the Crescent Colours cotton and silk threads that I could obtain?
HAPPY STITCHIN'
Terri
You know, I'm one of those who doesn't like to hear about Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving (Because I love Thanksgiving), but this blogpost really put me in the mood. :)
My favorite Carol is definitely Carol of the Bells (My favorite song is Peggy Lee's "Happy Holiday"), and Dear Marc's is God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (also a favorite here!)
For treats, I love apple cider, homemade cranberry sauce, and "Christmas Cake". :)
Now, back to my stitching! I just started a Prairie Schooler design which I converted to cotton overdye using mostly your crescent cottons, and I am loving it! I started with the red fox (he's wearing "Red Currant").
I also want to mention that though I HATE stitching in white thread, I love your BS Icing, and use it whenever I possibly can! It is just the best white (color or texture) I know!
Happy Thanksgiving and best wishes to Finley!
I don't know what they are called, but my favorite holiday candies are chocolate peppermint sticks. Thanks for offering this giveaway!
I love ribbon candy! I always associate it with Christmas, and my Mom gives me a box every year.
I have been following for a while, and I was so sorry to hear about Finley being so sick. Please give him gentle hugs for me.

I'm now a faithful follower. My favorite candy is Turtles. I never buy them any other time of year other than Christmas time.
I love the little frame for Snow White. It's just so simple and elegant.
I love Andes Mints too - I don't eat candy often though !! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity - The frames are wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite Christmas candy is that ribbon hard candy...because my grandma always had it!
I have been a follower for a long time and love the blog. My favorite Christmas candy is an old fashion candy that my Grandma always had at the holidays. It's ribbon candy. Of course, I love fudge too. Thanks for having a great giveaway.

Hope the radiation treatments help Finley.

Already a follower. :) What a generous and fun giveaway! My favorite Christmas candy is chocolate covered toffee...droooooool...I could get obese on that stuff if I let myself! ha!
Lovw those finishes. My favorite christmas candy is chocolate covered cherries.
Hee hee. My last post didn't make sense, sorry. Just became an official follower although I've been checking in on your blog for a while. My favorite Christmas candy is homemade fudge. Every year, Mom makes the candy while the rest of us decorate her tree/house. Yup, she still does it even though all the kids are in their 30's. And you question just made me realize that I will be getting my fudge next weekend. Yippee!
At Christmas my favorite is Peppermint - puts me in the holiday spirit!Anything chocolate comes in a very close second!
Ohhhh! I love the frames and your flosses.
My favorite candy is chocolate covered cherries at christmas.
I have been a follower for awhile now
Thanks for a great give away
My favorite christmas candy is ribbon candy my mother-inlaw used to buy it after christmas on clearence and hide it in the freezer, by the time it came to me at the next christmas gettogether it was one big lump, I just did not have the heart to tell her I had to throw it out the next day.
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Catherine
Love all the lovely designs and framing! My favorite christmas goodies are peppermint bark and I loved spiced cider or mulled cider. Yum!
My favorite candy is Peppermint Bark from Crate and Barrell or Williams Sonoma but the candy that brings back the most memories are Ribbon Candy and those little peach colored pillows filled with something yummy (like buttercrunch or something) My aunt always had bowls and bowls of yummy treats around on Christmas Eve.
Of course I am a follower. :) My favorite Christmas candy is the candy cane hershey kisses. I buy tons of them and after Christmas when they go on sale we buy more. LOL they are great baked in little brownie bites or cupcakes. :)
Glad Finley is going through his treatments. :)
My favorite Christmas candies are the liquid-center chocolate-covered cherries (can't think of the brand for the life of me right now) and Hershey's candy cane kisses. Great stuff!
I had you bookmarked on my favorites but just became an official follower ... I really want to participate in this giveaway. Your frames are lovely. I've always loved your fibers but didn't realize you had frames as well. I just got a fantastic order of a dozen Belle Soie silks and Crescent Colours cotton overdyes in the mail ... I've got to say your Weeping Willow and Ye Olde Gold [for Plum Street Samplers Halloween Greetings] are simply wonderful. I also stocked up on some of the silk ... I have fallen in love with Foo Foo Flamingo and have been using Tortoise Shell as my go-to neutral for borders and backgrounds for some time now ...
forgot to add that my favorite Christmas candy is marzipan
Well, I know you can get these most of the year, but Williams Sonoma makes a terrific "Peppermint Patty"....which they only sell this time of year. Have been following for awhile but am now official. Thanks for entering my name in your give away.
My favorite Christmas candy???? It must be candy canes. :) I remember when I was a little girl sneaking them off the tree and eatting them in my room. LOL I still put them on my tree and yes, sneak a couple off. LOL
Please enter me in your very generous drawing; I'd love one of these beautiful frames.
Hugs, Shar
I am a follower and I love any kind of candy that has peppermint!!! Candy canes, peppermint patties, you name it.
I would love to enter your wonderful drawing for a frame. Thank you for the chance. Blessed Holidays!!!
Pam
what fun...I love candy canes! I can't wait to get my first package of the season and eat them slowly throughout the day.
Love all of your frames...always suiting for the design.
Soft peppermint sticks!
I wait all year for them--then hide a package just for me.
beautiful new projects for us to choose from and get us in the holiday spirit.
Thanks so much.
I just love homemade fudge at this time of the year. My friends and I love your frames with all the different finishes and colors to match designs. Please keep up all the hard work!
Thank you so much for the chance! :)
I would say my favorite Christmas candy was always the gold coins that came in the plastic webbing. It was cheap chocolate but boy did my sister and I sock those away like there was no tomorrow! :)
I absolutely LOVE your frames! :) My favorite Christmas candy is homemade Buckeye candy! Being from the Buckeye state it's a must have at Christmas!!
My favourite Christmas candy was always my mother's homemade chocolate fudge however once I married a French Canadian I had a new favourite. The French sucre a creme is a traditional fudge from the province of Quebec, simply made from butter, white and brown sugars. It's decadent!!!
Thank you for this generous offer. Although you may not hear much from me I am a regular follower of your blog. I really enjoyed seeing all the new patterns displayed using your lovely floss.
My favorite Christmas candy is buckeyes. Buckeyes are peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate. Very delicious!
I love reading your blog, and now I just have to become an "official" follower! I suppose my favorite Christmas candy would be homemade fudge, but my all-time favorites are Fannie May's Trinidads and Truffles. Those rich, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate centers... oh, my!
This is my second attempt. Goo Goo Clusters made in Nashville Tennessee are my favorites.
Only get them when I am home for Christmas.
Love the frames and already have a stash of LHN for the winter projects. Thanks for offering

Christmas Candy is Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses! They are addictive :)
Here's wishing you and your family (both with skin and fur) a very happy Thanksgiving. Carol in AZ
My favourite Christmas sweets are marzipan stuffed dates
Some new patterns to add to my wish list. I think my favorite Christmas candy would have to be the snickers nutcrackers. They just seem to have more caramel than nougat.
I'm anxiously waiting to purchase North Wind as soon as it becomes available so would LOVE that frame. My mom, who passed away in March, always recited that poem (in its entirety) to me and that picture reminds me of her in such a good way. I don't think I've met a candy I don't like, but Mom's English Butter Toffee that she only made for Christmas has to be the best. I guess it's my job to make it now for the next generation.
My favorite is ribbon candy. It brings back memories of when I was little, and all the family members were gathered at my grandmas
Have always visited your blog, but I am now official!
My favorite holiday candy is, no not anything chocolate, but peppermint taffy!

Sharon,
I always have to buy at least one box of chocolate covered cherries during the Christmas season. They only last a few days! Thank you for all the wonderful threads that I use. I just can't seem to get enough of them. Thank you for the opportunity to win one of your frames! Happy Thanksgiving!
Sandy
BUCKEYES!! What beats chocolate and peanut butter? Nothing in my book especially since I believe I'm part elephant :)
LOL!
LOVE all the frames and all the patterns and I own each and every one! So a frame would be just the perfect touch, don't you agree!?
Homemade white chocolate peppermint bark. Its so easy to make, and a great little gift too.
How fun! My favorite candy at this time of year would be homemade chocolate fudge! :)
Another new follower here! Those frames are all lovely - really accent the stitching.
