As I'm reviewing my list of patterns to stitch, a lot of them are winter patterns. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm envious of people who have a white Christmas. I've never had one. After living my whole life in Arizona, aside from 5 years in San Diego and Hawaii, chances are that I won't. So a random tangent from this is that I recently did a challenge with some of my friends and we came up with 10 tens on our Bucket List. Some of my answers even surprised me. I've listed my list below, feel free to leave yours in the comments. The only rule was that it was entirely about yourself, not things you want to do with children, family, etc. Anyway, here's my list:
1) Live somewhere where the seasons change..
2) Go back to Italy and spend a month there
3) See a baseball game in every stadium in MLB
4) Go on an unrestricted time length to travel through the North and Northwest part of the USA
5) Go on a cruise, Mediterranean is my first choice
6) Go to NYC to see the Statue of LIberty
7) Retire before 60
8) Become fluent in French and Italian.
9) Retire to a home/ranch to enjoy peace, simplicity and chickens.
10) I would like to learn another hobby that is not my business.
I encourage you all to do this, it was very revealing to me.
Enjoy a wonderful weekend! Sharon

Love you 10 list. I never thought about seeing a ball game in each MLB stadium but how fun would it be to follow your favorite team to each stadium. Cool. As for chickens, doesn't sound so peaceful so if this comes true please let me know how that goes. My husband has wanted chickens forever but I'll I can envision is work. Thanks for sharing your list. As for Dianes designs I don't think I have found one that I don't like.
I love your frames!! Where can one order them?
Going to Liberty Island is hands-down the best of the touristy things I did when I first moved here!
Did you know that the Statue (and the island upon which it stands) Is actually in New Jersey?
At any rate it's worth the trip to Jersey City to get on the circle line ferry. It's a group of boats that originate at the Mainland Jersey port, go to Ellis Island, then on to Liberty Island, then back to Port. Because they are constantly circulating, you can stay as long as (well, until last call) you want on each of the islands. The city is just more beautiful there than from any other place. Great item for your list!
Another great (and delicious) view of the city can be had from Edgewater NJ. I recommend a stop at the Mitsuwa Marketplace--their French/Japanese "fusion" pastry shoppe St. Honore is delicious! Go and see the sunset while eating the best cafeteria-grade food you'll ever taste from their "food court"!
In the city go to the Chelsea Market, which was converted from an old Nabisco factory! I recommend the ginger ice cream from their milk bar with hot fudge! Yumm!
Oh - rubber stamping or quilting for your new hobby!! They both definitely fit a cross-stitcher's heart... Don't ask me how I know... :-)

Nataly..I grew up on a small farm, so I have wonderful memories of the simplicity of that life. Which of Diane's designs is your favorite?
MomSue..Thank you for such a nice compliment! Our frames can be purchased at any LNS/ONS. Where do you normally shop?
Berit..I just printed out your lovely advice!! Thank you!!
Tricia..I'm very attracted to quilting because of all the beautiful fabrics out there. I have a sewing machine but I'm not very adept at it. Rubber stamping is a great idea too! I love to make handmade cards and packaging.
Kim..I've never seen an orange Kitchen Aid mixer?? What a happy color! And I have Fiesta ware Turquoise, I want to mix in some Lime and Chocolate, wouldn't that be fun?
Thanks for the comments, girls! :)

I can help you with a couple - come spend time here - we've got about an 3/4 inch of fresh snow tonight! I lived here in Michigan for my whole life and save a couple Christmas holidays in FL as a teen, they have been cold and mostly white!! And you can come back and catch a Tiger Game - that's always fun! LOL! No chickens here! Love this idea!
I love to work with your Cresent Colours.
