How cute is this??

Linda Ebright from Lizzie*Kate called me a few weeks ago, saying she needed a frame for a snowman.  So we made up a couple for her to choose from and I'm SO glad she chose this one:

This is her new series of Snippet Snowmen.  The frame she chose is called 'The Joy' and sized 4" x 9" with Fleamarket Icing finish.  I love when things look like they were made for each other.  I'm going to stitch this one so I have my own, it's just that cute!

Sitting around, watching football today, eating Carraba's leftovers and I think they taste better the second day.  Call me strange, but there are alot of different meals that I think taste better the next day.  It's getting a little cooler here in Arizona ,only gets up to 80 during the day now.  Time to drag out the crock pot and start making some roasts and chili.  Mmmmm.  Don't ask me why my blog is so food oriented today.  I just like good food.

Also, thank you all so much for the sweet emails, posts and cards regarding my sweet boy Finley. We are just loving him and keeping his life as normal as we can.  I also want to share something about his brother, Jake.  They've always been the best of pals and they love each other. The other night, I was watching Jake walk through the living room and he kissed Finley on the top of his head. I thought, I've never seen that happen. Well, I've seen it happen about 15 times in the past few days. I think he knows that his brother is sick. It's the sweetest thing I've ever seen.  Jake will be as lost as all of us when Finley passes.  But for now, our lives are filled with making memories, lots of lovies for both boys and accepting our fate.  Thank you all for being so kind.  It means the world to me.

Well, that took a long time...

I apologize, first off, for being so negligent of this beautiful blog. I'm happy to say that we've been swamped!  Thank you all for loving our colors so much, that's what makes it worth being in this business.  I hope you've all gotten the new releases that debuted at the September needlework market. If you haven't seen them, here are some photos...

First the cottons: Barn Door, Old Money and Ora's Iris.

Then the silks...ooooh, aaahhhh. They are Ivy League, Maple Leaf and Weathered Vine.

And finally, the #5 perle cottons:  Nutmeggie, Pumpkin Harvest and Morning Glory

We made the Nutmeggie specially for the girls at Shepherd's Bush for their new Christmas Stocking: Sadie.

I promised to show you Tic Tac Snow, my teaching piece for the Market.  It is now available in pattern form from your LNS.

On the homefront, we have some sad news. We found out yesterday that our golden retriever, Finley (of Finley Gold fame) has bone cancer in his right elbow. He's 10 years old, so there's no cure, just comfort, pain medicine and lots of love. To say the least, we are a little shell shocked and sad, but we will be there for our boy till it's time to chase bunnies in Heaven.

That's all for now, hope fall weather has cooled us all down and that you have plenty of time for some good stitching.

Thanks,
Sharon
