Heaven has a new golden angel today..
My beloved Golden Retriever, Finley, passed away peacefully this morning. There is no more pain, no more cancer, just running through the forests of heaven, chasing butterflies and chipmunks.

I am so sorry for your loss Sharon. It is so hard to loose a furry memeber of the family. You will always have all of the wonderful memories with Finley and although it is not the same as having him physically there with you he will always be in your heart.

Sharon I am so sorry for your loss. I know what you are going through. My bunny of 9 years died in my arms in April... I miss him every day. Diane from LHN helped me create a sampler in memory of him using one of her charts and I cried the whole time I stitched it... He was a beautiful dog. Pat

and i know i will only have a very short time left with my friend, but i am going to make the most of it.
Sharon, so sorry to read of Finley's trip over the Rainbow Bridge. But he is now free from the cancer and running through the forests as you say, you will always have a place in your hear for your dear Finley.
I will think of him every time I pull Finley Gold out of my stash. :) So sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear about Finley. He looks like he was a sweet, wonderful boy from his photo. Hope the dog print made it into your hands last December and that you might have warm and happy memories of your beloved boy every time you glance at it.

Just found your blog and discovered you'd lost a beautiful friend. He looks exactly like our 18 month old golden retriever puppy and I am crying a little just imagining my life without him. I'm sure it's still a very hard time for you. Our animals are more like our children than our children are because they give such unconditional love their whole lives.
My sympathy and I hope the pet loss support group helped. I think that's an awesome idea, as people who do not own animals cannot understand why it is so difficult when we lose them.
