Well, I have returned from a wonderful market in Nashville. My favorite part of my job is seeing and hanging out with good designer friends, my sweet shopowner friends and seeing all that is new and fabulous in the needlework world. I have NO idea where to start....Let's start with the 'collaboration' project that I do every year with Little House Needleworks, Impie Hattie and Be and Hoffman Distributing Company (who BTW are my distributors and I love them!!Everyone should be so lucky to have great people that work right along side you and help your business grow). Anyway! Here is a picture of Fresh From the Garden....
Everything from that cutie patootie tomato to the charts used for the needlebook and sampler, this is a limited piece that is NOT to be missed. Ask for it from your local needlework shop.
Next, Diane from Little House Needleworks and myself are collaborating on a new series, called "Seasons". Each 90x90 stitch count design combined with one full skein of Belle Soie silk (oooohh ahhhh) comes packed together to stitch a beautiful monochromatic season. I'm showing you this all together, but can be stitched any way you'd like. The packs were released to shops that attended Nashville, so if you know your shop went, they already have these in stock. They will ship to your LNS in the March automatic if they didn't attend. These will release March, May, July and September. Spring begins the series with Weathered Vine Belle Soie with the recommended fabric on WDW 30 ct Cocoa. I'm going to have my model stitcher do this on 40 count all together, little tiny seasons! So pretty!
Now, onto the softest and prettiest overdyed threads out there! Ta Da!
These are the three new Crescent Colours Cotton Flosses:
Blue Corn, Hazelnut and Chopped Chives
Belle "like buttah" Soie silk flosses:
Berry Cobbler, Biscotti and Pecan Pie
And just a reminder, you can be stitching right along with us on Country Cottage Needleworks "Cakes" series. This is our beautiful slice of Strawberry cake on display at the market. Everyone loved it and we do too!!
Again, I'm thankful for the LNS and stitchers who support my business.
A little Finley update. Seems like my old guy is slowing down a bit. It's heartbreaking, to say the least. But I've had five extra months with him that I've loaded with wonderful love and memories. He's one of the best things that has ever happened in my life and for that, I am eternally grateful. I snapped this picture about a week ago....
Everyone enjoy the rest of the week!
Sharon
