The introduction our latest product line...

As promised, I am giving you a sneak peek our newest product line!  Hand dyed cotton chenille & rick rack. So as to not waste anymore time.....

Above is a sampling of some of the chenille colors. They are so soft, like a fuzzy blanket.  I talked to Alma Allen of Blackbird Designs last fall and asked her if I dyed this stuff, would she use it.  Her answer was, "Of course we would!!!"  Showed it to a couple of shops and they loved it too.  Excellent for trimming just about anything needlework or incorporated into your project.  I see it on wool applique making a little rose flower to give the piece dimension! Let me know what you think!!

Above are some sample shots of our 1" rick rack.  We will be carrying it in four sizes, which will work from tiny pinkeeps or trimming a quilt.  The possibilities are quite endless.

These are an example of some of the other sizes we'll be carrying. Don't worry, there will be quarter inch size too.

So what do you think? Leave me a comment over the next few days and put  your full name and email in the post and say something nice about the new pretties! The only other rule is that you need to be a follower of this blog.  I'll pull a winner and that person will get some one-yard lengths of some of the chenille and rick rack!

I love releasing new stuff!

Hello lovely Crescent Colours fans!  We have been working in high gear at the warehouse to bring you some new and exciting stuff starting July 1st.  After being asked countless times by shops and designers, July 1st brings handdyed chenille, hand dyed rick rick and hand dyed cotton lace.

Ok, stop, catch your breath. Soft and beautifully dyed, our chenille is perfect for trimming pillows or couching down on a primitive piece. The possibilities are endless. I'll sneak peak you some colors in a few days. The colors are matchable to the colors in our hand dyed cotton floss line. Think Bean Sprout, Wild Berries, Secondhand Rose, 12-grain, Toasted Marshmallow, Blue Moon...

Now, there will also be hand dyed rick rack. I cannot wait to show you how beautiful this stuff is hand dyed.  I'm going to offer four different sizes: 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1 inch.  Such pretty and a naturally variegated look.  Your biggest designers are working with both products now and will have pretty little pincushions, adorable quilts and using it as part of a primitive scene.  Again, I'll sneak peek you some pictures in a few days.

We just finished dyeing the new cottons for release at the Baltimore Summer Needlearts Market in August. We will have six new cotton flosses and six new silk flosses. There might also be ready some new additions to our new trim line. It's just a joyous time! I love this part of my job.

I'm putting together a patriotic giveaway for Flag Day next week. Stay tuned....
