I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday weekend. It's hard to come back to work after sleeping in for four days. But here we are and we have things to share with you.
One of my dearest friends helped me with some photography of a new frame we developed here at CC. A subtle brush of very fine sparkle is added to the frame and then the top coat goes on. The finish isn't crunchy like you'd think with glitter, this just adds a little princess look to the frames. We will call this finish Princess, I know, it's so appropriate. It looks great on our white frames, definitely shabbies them up. So without further ado, here are a few glimpses...
See? Just a little extra fancy.
We are getting excited for our upcoming markets. The first is in January, The Winter TNNA Needlearts Show, January 21-23, 2011. There is a Sample-It event at this market, I have no idea of what to put in the packages. Shopowners, any idea of what you'd like to take home from us? Let me know!
Our second market of the year is in Nashville, in February. I can't wait to show you what we've cooked up in the dye pot along with a special project from Little House Needleworks and Crescent Colours. There is a new activity added with this market, called Make It-Take It. You get about 15 minutes per table and come away with a great activity for your shop. More details on that later. I love this market, because I'm always beside SamSarah Design Studio, which is my good friend Patti Connor. Makes market so much more fun when you are surrounded by friends.
Last but certainly not least, we have set some holiday hours. We will close on Friday, December 16, 2011 and reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012. If you have last minute frame orders we ask that you try to get them to us by Tuesday, December 13th.
Have a fun December..I'm traveling to South Carolina next week for a get together at The Stitch and Frame shop in Rock Hill, SC, meeting up with some good friends for a weekend of stitching.
Happy Holidays, may all of your dreams come true!

Do you remember?
"the very first night in September?" Oops. Got caught up in one of my very favorite Earth, Wind and Fire songs.
Anyhoo....
Anyhoo....
Remember the design "This is My Joy" that we showed you last week? LHN and Crescent Colours have a little surprise attached to the design. Between now and December 16th, if you are the holder of the pattern marked with the number drawn by the random number generator, you will be the recipient of LHN's upcoming new reproduction design, Elizabeth Hancock AND all of the silk to complete the sampler. On that day, I will give instructions on confirming your win should you hold the pattern with the "drawn" number. If the winning pattern number has not been claimed in 48 hours or it is sitting in a shop unsold, a new number will be generated until a happy stitcher is found! Scroll down to the photo and info if you missed the blog post. Everything you need to know about the pack is there. You will need to call your local shop to place your order as Crescent Colours is a wholesale company and cannot ship direct to the consumer.
Thanks so very much and good luck!!!

Look at this jolly Santa. The pattern is from Lizzie Kate and she framed in our super duper Joy frame in Fleamarket Icing. Thanks Linda, for using our products!!
This beauty is from Country Cottage Needleworks, called January Cottage. There's a couple of our threads in there plus she used the Merry frame in Fleamarket Icing. Darling!
Vintage Christmas and I love it!!! Country Cottage Needleworks does it again.
This is how we decorate at home for Christmas. Again, some of our threads and that frame is the June in Fleamarket Icing. Makes me wish there was snow on the mountains!
